I’m probably going to return mine and just go with the S7 Edge until next year when the S8 comes out. I can’t take this LG UI… I tried…. I really did.

The slippery factor was a big concern for me when I handled the sample device at the local T-Mo store. I thought that because they had it connected to that massive display holder, I really couldn’t hold it properly to really tell if it was that slippery. But I’ve read a number of comments now that confirm it is a slippery device and a case is probably warranted.

Plus, I just read on XDA that a number of cases have come up about the camera glass possibly being a bit fragile and cracked for a few owners after having the units for just a short period of time. That’s worrisome.

I pre-ordered the LG V20 last Monday at a T-Mobile store, and it was delivered on Friday. I’ve been playing with it for a few days now and I enjoy having it. It is a slippery phone to hold though. I’m scared of dropping it. Because I got the phone so early, cases aren’t available for sale yet. I ordered a case on Amazon, but it won’t be delivered until November 1. I played around with the LG UI for a bit after I got the phone and I wasn’t a fan of it. I installed Nova Launcher to give me greater ability to customize it to my liking and give it a more stock Android feel.

In reply to Carlos Quintanilla. Is that a $200 bill credit or $200 off of the V20? There is a difference and the bill credit does me no good. I could turn in my old S3. Its till works and 4G. I wonder if they care if its rooted or not?
