That’s my question too. I was hoping T-mobile would grab the Z3 compact, but they didn’t, even when there was a pretty popular petition in the T-mobile official forums. I like a 1-hand friendly phone, and T-mobile’s never really had one of those with flagship specs.

Not even the original Moto X.

In reply to Roger. I'm not sure if the new smaller Alcatel device that Cam mentioned recently fits that requirement, worth checking. It's the smaller of the two sold directly by the manufacturer, and has worse specs overall.
