Am I required to get a SIM for it? If so, will I need to add the watch as a wearable line to my plan? I was hoping to avoid having to shell out the extra $10/month if possible. Also would like to avoid using the LTE radio, keeping it on bluetooth/wifi to conserve power.

I would imagine it would wake the phone out of Doze. If the data connection is blocked, then you could possibly not receive a phone call. It is basically using VOIP…not using cell service. Putting it in Doze would render it useless.

No, you don’t. Unless you want a new separate number on your account. If you want to sign in with the app with your current number it’s free.

I was in the beta program and been trying to get them to clone my primary number to my Gear S3. They keep trying to charge me $10 to $15 to add a line. I already paid for the primary # that have text talk and data why charge us again for the same number that we already paid for. I could understand if you want a different number

Only 1 Line? Well that makes sense that you are getting error if you are trying to move the slider to enable and switches back to disable if you are trying to enable digits on the same phone with only 1 Line being associated with that phone. I do believe you would need at least 2 lines to make use of DIGITS.
