This is a step backwards for T-mobile. $70 unlimited LTE was a sweet plan. the 5 GB plan is bs at $70.

Yes there is a list, you can find on T-mobile site
But maybe you got it wrong
122 countries that’s when you physically in that country, and can text same or any other country on that list, that’s free&unlimited
But when you in US, you will be able to text almost all countries cell phone #’s for free as well

I was wondering if there is a list of all the countries we can text to, now. They mentioned a list over 120 countries, but I don’t know a single one.

In reply to james. for international texting if you recieve you do not get charged the person sending is getting charged by their carrier. Since your a tmobile customer you wont be charged for sending once this plan is in place. Unless your friend in Mexico has a similar plan with his carrier in Mexico where they wont charge him for sending you a text, he will most likely be charged but i cant really speak for the rules on his carriers side.

This plan change is not enough. I just checked AT&T and Verizon are getting into price war with Tmobile. Tmobile need to be more aggressive i think. Just few weeks ago att and verizon pirces were pretty high…now its just $10 diff. (if u have one or two phones per line) Yeah i know they dont offer unlimited data but most people are average user and they dont need unlimited data. This price change has me thinking of switching to verizon. But im saving little more than $10, about $20 – $30 because i have 4 phones on my tmobile account.

Two lines with 2gb data with iphone 5s

$200 down for phone.

Tmobile: $80 (plan) + $20 (phone) + $20 (phone) = $120

Att: $40 (plan) + $40 (phone) + $40 (phone) = $120

Verizon: $50 (plan) + $40 (phone) + $40 (phone) = $130

Price difference is almost same if you want 6gb of data for two phones. So, my point is either tmobile need to get into coverage within 2014 to rural areas and highways or get more aggressive with pricing. Im happy with any of these two.

Or, let softbank take care of it. They have the money, and technology. Softbank in japan is awsome and i dont have any doubt mr. SON will let anyone play with this company. (like what has happen sprint/nextel at the moment or past) I have seen his interviews and used softbank in japan. He knows what hes doing and he wants to be number 1 telecom in US and on his journey to be number 1 we as a consumer will only benefit. (his company becoming #1 is a different discussion)

If anyone disagrees with me then please comment. I would love to hear it. But before you do watch Mr. SON’s speech in washington DC that he gave last week. Its on softbank mobile english website on top right corner.
