Just the roadside assistance is worth $52/yr from Allstate under their current promotion.

In reply to marque2. Except that the port is right there under the steering wheel and anyone who knows anything about stealing cars would know to check the port. There's a very small chance that your car would get stolen in the first place let alone the thief not removing the SyncUp before taking off.

In reply to vinnie. That's right but the hotspot data won't even last a road trip and it's already included in T-Mobile plans. If you absolutely have to have roadside assistance (almost nobody does) then I guess it's worth the price, AAA is way better though.

I have one of these and it works great. It is a bit more trim than the old model I had and it provides great hotspot service in my truck via the 600 MHz spectrum quite nicely. I am glad to see that they are updating the app as it really needed some work, some of the main functions were really difficult to find.
